Can you help?
It is MLN policy to accept materials from any member library. If you could return materials at the library where you checked them out, it would help us enormously. The sending and receiving of materials is very expensive. Thank You.
Nicaragua Donations
Over March break last year, Liam Gaziano visited Nicaragua to distribute school materials, clothes and shoes to local Nicaraguans. This August he plans to return to Nicaragua and again bring more supplies. The Dedham Public Library has agreed to have a collection bin in the Main Library to collect supplies. Wanted donations include, but aren’t limited to, school materials such as notebooks, pencils, etc., light clothes i.e. no sweatshirts or pants are needed, and new or used shoes of any size. If you have any questions Liam can be reached at
Liam.Gaziano@Roxburylatin.org or 781-686-8401. Thank you.

THE COUPON SWAP IS BACK!
As the economy seems to worsen and food prices rise, coupons are in demand again, and so the Endicott Library Branch is re-introducing the Coupon Swap. Bring in coupons you don’t need and “swap” them for ones you do need. Most coupons come from the Sunday Newspapers, but we will accept coupons from other sources that have long expiration dates; that is, coupons that do not expire within a week. We will even accept those pesky val-pak coupons we all get in the mail. Please bring in your coupons and help us provide a service to the community……help our Coupon box help you.
There are a few different ways to give to the library. One is to purchase a book for someone which will be noted with a book plate with the recipients' name. Here is an updated list of books donated to the Dedham Public Library.
Another way, is to give directly to the Friends of the Dedham Public Library. Discuss with the Friends how you would like the gift to be used.
