The Community Information Database gathers and provides information about local agencies, services, and organizations through the Minuteman Library Network database. The goal is to provide individuals with the most up-to-date, comprehensive and confidential referrals to services pertaining to their needs. If you would like to add your organization to our database, please contact Circulation Supervisor, Lisa Ingemi 781-751-9284 or email at lingemi@minlib.net

Donate Books (Please!)
The Friends of the Dedham Library need a regular supply of clean books for their quarterly book sales. Your donations continue to be a tremendous help! This is the time to do spring cleaning and clear out all those books you no longer want or need!
It’s easy to drop off books - there is a donation box across from the circulation desk at the Main Library. Please, no books with mold or mildew. No encyclopedias. No used textbooks. For large donations, pick up may be arranged.
The Friends is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and all money raised goes to support your Library and its programs. The Friends compete with several for-profit organizations that have donation boxes located in parking lots. These groups make only a small donation to a charity and keep the profits. Please get word out that all books donated to Friends of the Dedham Library directly support your Library. Click here for information about Summer Reading 2010

THE COUPON SWAP IS BACK!
As the economy seems to worsen and food prices rise, coupons are in demand again, and so the Endicott Library Branch is re-introducing the Coupon Swap. Bring in coupons you don’t need and “swap” them for ones you do need. Most coupons come from the Sunday Newspapers, but we will accept coupons from other sources that have long expiration dates; that is, coupons that do not expire within a week. We will even accept those pesky val-pak coupons we all get in the mail. Please bring in your coupons and help us provide a service to the community……help our Coupon box help you.
There are a few different ways to give to the library. One is to purchase a book for someone which will be noted with a book plate with the recipients' name. Here is an updated list of books donated to the Dedham Public Library.
Another way, is to give directly to the Friends of the Dedham Public Library. Discuss with the Friends how you would like the gift to be used.
